Several students’ unions were calling for the suspension of an order authorizing the implementation of an automated processing of personal data “Parcoursup” considered illegal. After balancing the interests in question, the State Council considered that the suspension of “Parcoursup” would cause an infringement on the general interest (good progress of the procedures of pre-registration for the higher education) exceeding the inconvenient invoked by the claiming unions in view of the limited nature of the processing. The severity and urgency were not retained.
